2011 - 2012 SAT INTENSIVE CRASH COURSES

DESCRIPTION AND REGISTRATION

 All classes occur in our central office located at: 

699 Los Altos Avenue Los Altos, CA 94022

•  When 

• Group classes: First four Tuesdays of each month 5 pm to 8 pm, except for July or December. Tests are administered on any Saturday of the corresponding month at 9:00 am (please save four hours). 
• Private classes:  Tailored to your schedule (also 12 hours)

•  If you miss a class 

•  You can take it for no extra charge the next time it is taught (it would be the next month) For example, if you missed the second Tuesday of January, you can make it up on the second Tuesday of February. Please call ahead. Only for group classes.

• Tuition 

•  Group classes: $395.00 per student. $250 for the math--or verbal-portion only. First practice SAT is free, subsequent ones can be taken (and will be graded and analyzed) for $20. 
•  Individual instruction: $540.00. $280 for the math--or verbal-portion only. First practice SAT is free, subsequent ones can be taken (and will be graded and analyzed) for $20.

• Class size

• Group classes: 6 students or fewer

• We teach: 

• All the material tested in the NEW SAT, including Algebra 2, grammar, and the new essay; and o Test taking strategies which will help you score higher.

• Taught by

• All highly qualified and experienced instructors o All of our instructors have a BA, but most have an MA/MS, a teaching credential and are knowledgeable/trained on SAT test taking strategies.

• Materials

•  Registration includes all handouts. Bring binder, binder paper, calculator, pencil, eraser, snack, beverage, and a teachable attitude.

• Teaching method 

• We teach to the test. We will tell you what to do when you don't know the answer. We will discover your weaknesses and help you in the specific area of concern.

• Guarantee 

  If you don't get the score you want in the SAT, you might retake our group course one time for $280.
